January Senate Election
The Constitution of the Union of Democratic States states that "The Senate is comprised of five Senators who are elected every two months in a two-day election that shall conclude at the end of January, March, May, July, September, and November."
The candidacy form for the January Senate Election accepted responses from 11:00 PM EST on January 28th to 11:00 PM EST on January 30th, after which a list of candidates was released. British Isles and Commonwealth Realms, Kingdom of Sacento, and We The People Gourvenor submitted candidacy forms for the January Senate Election. The January Senate election ballot accepted responses from 11:45 PM EST on February 2nd to 11:45 PM EST on February 4th. In total, 20 ballots were submitted, of which all were valid.
Of the valid ballots, British Isles and Commonwealth Realms earned an average placement of 1.75, Kingdom of Sacento earned an average placement of 2.40, We The People Gourvenor earned an average placement of 2.93, and Re-Open Nominations earned an average placement of 2.95. Thus, British Isles and Commonwealth Realms, Kingdom of Sacento, and We The People Gourvenor were elected to the Senate.
