January Chairperson By-Election
Because The Noble Thatcherites resigned his position as Chairperson on January 3rd, a By-Election was conducted by the Office of the Chancellor to fill the empty position.
The candidacy form for the January Chairperson By-Election accepted responses from 10:00 pm EST on January 4th to 8:00 pm EST on January 6th, after which a list of candidates was released. Zeneste submitted candidacy forms for the election. No invalid forms were submitted nor were any candidates invalid. There was a campaign period from January 6th to January 8th.
The Chairperson election ballot was announced and accepted responses from January 8th to January 10th. In total, 16 ballots were submitted. All ballots were valid.
Of the valid ballots, fourteen went to Zeneste and two went to Re-Open Nominations. Zeneste won 88% of the valid ballots and Re-Open Nominations won 12% of the valid ballots, meaning Zeneste was elected Chairperson.
