We note the residency of these nations in an attempt to illustrate their “newcomer” vs “oldtimer” status in an objective way; however it should be noted that many of these nations may move in and out of the region for various reasons, such as UDSAF duties, and thus a low residency period is not in and of itself a marker of a newcomer.
The Electoral Commission wishes to note that Lenlyvit, an honored citizen, recently switched nations - explaining the low residency time compared to other nations.

It was wonderful to see a hotly contested election in the Union once again. Nine candidates is outstanding! Congratulations to our newest senators. To those not elected, now is the time to build up your Union presence and come back stronger for the next one.
