A MOTION

To amend the bill "Establishment and Standardization of Awards & Other Grantable Items”
Introduced into the Senate of the Union of Democratic States on the 20th of May, 2021, by @Glaciosia
As follows:

BELIEVING that the rules of procedure for each house ought to be self contained,
UNDERSTANDING the importance of clear and well written legislation,
THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENTS ARE MADE:

Section 1: Short Title
1. This bill may be referenced as the "Awards Act Amendment"

Section 2: Amendments
1. Section 2, clause 2 of the Awards Act of 2021 shall be struck out and replaced with the following: “Statuses and the renaming of Categories and Buildings may be established, removed or modified, after a Motion in the Senate is passed to this effect and is assented to by the President. Statuses shall not vest the recipient with any authority.

With the new constitution, this has effectively the same effect as the original clause while allowing the senate rules to specify the exact rules, and avoids confusing duplication of processes as well as any constitutional issues
