A MOTION
To amend the bills "The Criminal Code Act”, “The Delegacy Act”, “The Awards Act of 2021”, “The Citizenship Act”, “The Executive Affairs Act”, and “The Elections Act”
Introduced into the Council of State of the Union of Democratic States on the 28th of June, 2023, by Guess and Check
As follows:
BELIEVING more of our laws need updating
BE IT ENACTED by the Council of State:
Section 1: Amendments
1. Section 1, Clause 2b of The Delegacy Act shall be amended to read as follows: “The “World Assembly Delegate” or “Delegate” shall be defined as the lawful Delegate of the region appointed via the legal mechanisms enshrined within the Constitution”.
2. Section 2, Clause 2 of the Awards Act of 2021 shall have the word “Senate” replaced by the words “legislative branch”.
3. Section 2, Clause 2a of the Awards Act of 2021 shall be amended to read as follows: “Any citizen(s) of the Union may propose such a Motion to the Speaker of the Council. Said citizen(s) shall be considered the Motion’s sponsors.”
4. Section 4 of The Elections Act shall be struck null and void in its entirety, and the subsequent Sections renumbered as appropriate.
5. Section 3, Clause 8 of the Citizenship Act shall have the word “Senate” be replaced with “Union’s legislature”.
6. Section 2, clause 2b of the Executive Affairs Act shall have the word “Senate” be replaced by the words “Union’s legislature”.
