November Senate Election
The Constitution of the Union of Democratic States states that "The Senate is comprised of five Senators who are elected every two months in a two-day election that shall conclude at the end of January, March, May, July, September, and November."
The candidacy form for the November Senate Election accepted responses from 2:00 PM EST on November 25th to 2:00 PM EST on November 27th, after which a list of candidates was released. British Isles and Commonwealth Realms, Dawnsland, Kingdom of Sacento, Phoenix Coalition, Prorescia, and Waroklion submitted candidacy forms for the November Senate Election. Eight candidacy forms were submitted in total with two being invalid. The November Senate election ballot accepted responses from 2:00 PM EST on November 28th to 2:00 PM EST on November 30th. In total, 24 ballots were submitted, of which 20 ballots were valid and four ballots were invalid. Two ballots were invalidated due to not holding citizenship as designated on the Ministry of the Census citizenship spreadsheet, one was invalidated due to being submitted past the cutoff time, and one was submitted as a duplicate ballot.
Of the valid ballots, British Isles and Commonwealth Realms earned an average placement of 2.6, Phoenix Coalition earned an average placement of 3.4, Dawnsland earned an average placement of 3.55, Kingdom of Sacento earned an average placement of 4, Prorescia earned an average placement of 4.3, Waroklion earned an average placement of 4.6, and Re-Open Nominations earned an average placement of 5.55. Thus, British Isles and Commonwealth Realms, Phoenix Coalition, Dawnsland, Kingdom of Sacento, and Prorescia, were elected to the Senate.
